Mazda Repair: Violent shaking of engine, professional mechanic, luck chris

Question
I have a 1989 323 2door sedan Mazda hatchback. Had the spark plugs, wires, rotor & distributor cap changed. Before doing this, the car would start but shake roughly then die when put in gear. After a few more try's it didn't start at all. Felt like gas was'nt going through(as it would be told me by he who helped me change all the above). After the changing, the car started up quickly but very low idle & rough, saw smoke come out of oil dipstick & exhaust under hood. He said might be fuel pump, injectors,02 sensor. Also can this sensor be changed by someone not a professional mechanic. PLEASE HELP ME. THANK YOU

Answer
Hi Kui thanks for asking,
before spending any more money on this car I suggest that you have an engine compression test done to this vehicle. this engine was very bad for burning out valves, If valves need to be replaced then it will start to get expensive, get back to me after the comression test. And no it will not be the fuel pump, or )2 sensors, its impossible..
good luck
