QuestionI have a 1992 Mercedes Benz 190E 2.6 with 190,000 well cared for miles. About a week ago it started to run rough when I pulled to a stop. soon after (a day or so) It would run rough at a stop light and then stalled, after a lot of cranking it started ran a mile or so and stalled out a low RPM. I was able to return home with the car and now it will not start, cranking power is great, I replaced the fuel filter, checked the fuel flow at each injector, Fuel pump works great, fuel delivery to injectors great. I now suspect it may be electrical (coil, distributor, rotor?). If I pull the spark plugs and crank the engine to check the spark at each spark plug will this help me diagnose the problem? I did notice that the problem of rough idle and sputtering seemed to be at low RPM only, once the car was up to 20-40 MPH it seemed to run ok. Now I cant get it started and when I crank it over for a while it coughs back once or twice?
