Mercedes Benz repair: abs indicator, rotor hub, flex hoses

Question
hi. it's me again. the merc 89?
lately my abs indicator on the dash is frequently on. could you please enlighten me about this?
thank you (again).

Answer
Bad or mismatched tires = unbalanced speed reading which the ABS will read as a random fault.
The teeth of the sensor rings in each rotor hub can become filled with rust sludge, this must be cleaned.
The ABS sensor tips are magnetic, and can become covered with rust, this must be cleaned.
The rubber flex hoses can collapse internally = act like a one way valve at random moments = unbalanced braking = unbalanced speed reading which the ABS will read as a random fault.
One or more caliper may be sticking = unbalanced braking = unbalanced speed reading which the ABS will read as a random fault.
One of the sensors may be failing = age, damage or electrical fault.
Brake fluid contamination or age accumulation of acid/particles/water can cause internal damage, seal breakdown, and eventual system failure = progressive unbalanced braking = unbalanced speed reading which the ABS will read as a random fault.

This needs hands on diagnostic to narrow down possible issues.
