Mitsubishi Repair: Mitsubishi question 2001 mirage, fuse box, dome light

The dome light is not working in my Mitusishi Mirage 2001. Also I got in to drive it today & the dials were not working. No speed, miles or RPM's etc. what could be the matter with it?

Ruth: The speed is controled by a cable which sounds like it has broken so you need to get a shop or dealership to replace that. The dome light, could be a bulb burnt out, fuse or a short. I would be checking the fuse box to see if you have any fuses burnt out. But if when replacing the fuse it blows again. Then you have a short and will need someone from a shop to dealership to find it. Sometimes they are hard to find. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
