Mitsubishi Repair: my car wont start, mitsubishi magna, car wont start

hi steven here i was just wondering if you could help me i have a 1991 mitsubishi magna executive and it just wont start when i turn it over it makes a ticking noise i have checked the fuel pump and all the fuses it has been off the road for several months now and i really want it to go so if u could help me that would be great

Steven: Have you checked your starter? That ticking noise makes me think that your starter is bad. You could take the starter off the engine and take it in to a parts store to have it tested. Other wise another thought here, how old is the battery in the car, are the cables clean where they hook to the battery? How old are the cables, but if all those turn out ok, then get that starter checked. I hope this helps and God bless: Linda
