Mitsubishi Repair: 1992 Nimbus problem, good luck, mitsubishi

Hi. I have a 1992 Mitsubishi Nimbus. The problem is that the "engine check" light is always on, and then the the engine's idle is erratic. Also, often the engine is just hard to start (no sound at all), but battery is nearly new. Can you give me some suggestions?

Ekki: The computer off the car is picking up a problem in the system; so the check engine light. You need to have your car coded(to code, means your car's computer is hooked up to another computer, which reads the car's computer) that will explain to you what the problem is and then how to fix it. I am thinking it might be a weak or bad sensor someplace. You must have this done soon, because the car could get so it will not start till this is fixed. Hope this helps and good luck! ~Linda~
