Mitsubishi Repair: 3000gt vr4, 3000gt vr4, pressure test

i have a 3000gt vr4. we ran it pretty hard one day. we got off on an exit and it was making a knockin noise. like a rod was loose. can you tell me my problem. thanks

Emmanuel: How many miles is on this car? When you say you ran it pretty hard, that would explain your question to you. Knocking noise could be anything, best have a shop check it over. Does the car use oil, is it losing water and heating? It is hard for me to really tell you what is wrong with your car. Not enough explained. I would have the timing belt checked, get a pressure test done on the engine and go from there. But knocking noise could be the sign that a rod was damaged. But again get a shop to check it over, they should be able to tell you better.Go easy on the car till you get this checked, or you could blow up the engine. Hope this helps and good luck! Linda
