Mitsubishi Repair: exterior door handles, exterior door, repair manual

How do I replace the exterior door handles? I removed the door panel only to find the power window blocks access to the inside bolt and spring attachment. I tried with the window up & down, there's no access! I have a 98 eclipse GST. Please help!

Keith: Looks like to me, that you will have to remove the window to get to that inside bolt and spring attachment. But my repair manual is for cars 1990 to 1994. You should go out and buy yourself a repair manual for your car. They cost around $20.00 and well worth the money. That manual would walk you through whatever you have to do, they can be bought at any parts store. I wish I could help you more and good luck! Linda
