Mitsubishi Repair: 2000 Eclipse auto transmission makes whining sound, eclipse auto, mitsubishi eclipse

I have 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse, which has started making a fairly loud whining noise.  The whining is most evident when idling, in reverse, and in first and second gear.  I have had the transmission flushed, but the sund continues.

Do you have the A/C on when it does it? IF so try turning off A/C..and listen....Sometimes if the A/C compressor is going out in your car..it can put extra drag on you engine and transmission, but if the sound is heard all the time,and if your car is over 100k-150k miles and depending on how hard your on your car..it could very well be the transmission needing some work..its hard to say exactly whats wrong until you can break the transmission down and take it apart..take it to a transmission place, maybe the can tell buy listening to it!
