Mitsubishi Repair: Smells like rotten eggs! 94 Mirage, rotten egg smell, mitsubishi mirage

hello, I got the oil changed last weekend and I started hearing a low whistling sound from the engine. The alternator belt was also adjusted to stop that irritating jigh pitched sound! (I replaced alternator,belt, battery 12/04)Then just this past week, when I would be driving, a smell similar to rotten eggs would linger to the inside of the car. The smell gradually increased to a strong rotten egg smell (yuck). It started normally this morning. No warning light ever came on. Ran an errand, turned off engine. Less than 10 min and car would not start. Just heard a clicking sound & lights came on, but car would not start. Can u help me? Thank you. 94 Mitsubishi Mirage Coupe Manual Drive. I'm sorry i don't have the VIN# at this moment.

From the symptoms you've described, it sounds like your car's computer has failed.  Read this article for more information:

I would highly recommend that you have your ECU pulled and inspected.  And if it is indeed the problem, you'll need to have it replaced.  A new one from the dealership can cost you up to $1200, so buying a used one or remanufactured one will definitely save you money.
