Mitsubishi Repair: ROUGH GEAR CHANGE AND VIBRATION ON BRAKES., trinidad west indies, rear brakes

Question
I have a 2000 model Mitsubishi Libero Wagon Automatic Tranny 1.8 L with ABS, The vehicle is doing 45,000 kms. My problem is when I pull off and the gear change I get a rough gear change like when there is a burst engine mount, I check the TPS and the voltage was 6.9 I readjust to .6 and it started to work good until a few days ago it start the same problem again. Next when I am driving around 80 kms -up and I step on the brakes I get a vibration like when you have a warp rotar disc, I change the rotar disc and the problem is still there. Please advise.

Thank you

Answer
Hardeo,
The Libero Wagon is not a vehicle that Mitsubishi made available in the U.S., so I don't know much about it.  If altering your TPS helped your initial gear change problem, then perhaps your car is not receiving adequate air or fuel.  Check your fuel pump and EGR valve.  Also replace your fuel filter and air filter if you haven't done so within the past two years.

For your vibration when you're braking, you should have replaced the rotors on both sides of your car, including replacing your brake pads.  If you only replaced the front rotors, check the rear brakes as well.  Also have a mechanic check your balljoints.  If your ball joints and worn, it can cause vibrations as well.
Good luck!
