Mitsubishi Repair: Electric problem, mitsubishi eclipse, autozone

I have a Mitsubishi eclipse year 1993, 1.8 L, and the problem is that as the car i sworking after a while if I turn on the headlight the car stops and there is no electricity at all. Sometimes when headlights are again turned on nothing happens but as AC is turned on this time the car will completely be dead.
What i sth eproblem?

I would guess your alternator is starting to die.  You listed some common clues to when an alternator is dying.  Fortunely, Eclipses give lots of warning signs before the alternator completely dies.  Alternators usually die after 10 years of regular use.

If you have an AutoZone in your area, they will check your battery and alternator for free.  Have it checked and get it replaced.
