Motorcycle Repair: What Gauge Wire Should I Use ?, motorcycle repair shop, fuse holder

Hey Gary

I know this sounds crazy but there's what I want to do.

I just bought an AIR HORN 4 my '85FLHTC Harley.

It came with just a relay and the air horn.

I'm pretty sure I know how to hook it up.
BUT I DON'T KNOW THE RIGHT GAUAGE WIRE TO USE ?

I have coming in the mail the following items.

1. Inline waterprook 20amp. fuse holder with fuse.
2. Socket Holder for the relay.

Now Gary: What size connectors ?
I will use SHRINK WRAP of course.

What gauge wire to make all connectings Gary please ?

Ray, Try 14 gauge it should be ok 12 might be to heavy to fit around everything. Some of the after market connectors are made in china and are really cheap and wont hold up long term. Look for good ones maybe at a good hardware store or motorcycle repair shop.
