Motorcycle Repair: csr kawaski 1000, pilot jet, brass tube

Question
hello there i have a 1982 csr 1000.which i have renovated  but i have taken the carbs apart 5 times and cant see any thing wrong it runs on choke fine.when you push the choke in to the sccond      setting it starts to pop and bang .if i spray easystart along the 4 carbs it fine so annoying. has to be fuel but what thanks martin

Answer
The choke slide allows more fuel through the circuit so it will run cold so it sounds as if its still not getting enough fuel with the choke off. Bad news, pull the carbs off and pull the bowls off remove the jets the float also the emulsion tube. Its held in place by the main jet and washer. Remove the top of carb and remove the slide, The emulsion tube can be tapped out of the body by tapping the bottom of the brass tube(dont damage the threads) the tube will go up into the body and out. Make sure its clean also. The pilot jet has the rubber plug in the body make sure its cleaned out. Blow out all the passages.Put back togethor make sure the emulsion tube goes in correctly its notched.Put the float on and make sure the float height is set parallel with the bottom of carb upper body where the bowl and upper flange meet. Also the mixture screws may have the brass or aluminum plug over the screw so you cant adjust them or blow out the passage very well.If they have been removed already then set the screws about 1 1/2 to 2 turns out from the all the way in seated position. Now try this.
