Motorcycle Repair: clutch pin lifter, metal shavings, xr250r

i have a honda 2003 xr250r with a broke clutch pin lifter , but only have one piece , has the other piece droped into engine ? how do i get it out ?

Jamie to know this much about the problem you are on the right track. If the clutch cover is off use a small pencil type magnet and fish around in any of the oil passages on the bottom on the case.Even remove the drain plug and try through there,get as much out at possible hopefully you will find enough of it to relieve some worry.Get the new part and set it back up with fresh oil. Run it a short while then change oil again to pick out any metal shavings left.
