Motorcycle Repair: 2003 honda foreman es450, reverse problem

I have a Honda foreman es450 and im having trouble with the reverse. It had 5 fwd and 1 reverse and it is the shift on the go push button with the up and down arrows. I had it checked awhile ago and they said they checked everything and greased everything up and it worked all summer. But now it stopped working again so i think its a problem with the cold weather. because everytime i take it out of the garage it stops working. it should be clicking to allow it to switch to reverse but it wont do anything. PLEASE HELP SO I CAN SLOVE THIS PROBLEM ALREADY!!!

The most common problem for reverse failure with your model is simple.On the very back of your engine towards the very bottom is a switch.Its the reverse indicator switch.It has one wire that connects to it and it can come loose by sticks,roots or vibration.Look for this switch and see if wire is disconnected and if so reconnect it.
