Motorcycle Repair: ct125, cam and motor, honda ct

hi ive got a ct12580 model ive had a few but its a hobby of mine nut i hav cum across a prob ive never had im in need of a wireing diagram ive lost spark ive got the points set right a new coil and spark plug i did ride it a short distance but after i got home i lost all spark after turning off?? and cant figure out why im at top dead centre on the cam and motor ive got everything right as far as i can tell ive decided to rewire it to make sure its all in good order just finding it hard to find a manual for it could u plz help i by either telling i how the wireing goes or sending a pic showng i if u could would be greatdul for the help cheers

Paul....  These bikes require a fully charged battery, plus a working charging system to go with it. Ignition is NOT magneto, in case you had that impression. Just wanted to be clear on that before you went further. If you clean points, set properly to open at F mark alignment and new coil, then maybe the condenser has failed instead. Lots of arcing at the points while cranking the motor over is a condenser failure sign.

Honda was pretty consistent with their wiring colors and functions through the years, so that one should be helpful.

These bikes were only sold in the US during the 1977 model year. I am aware that the Aussies used them as "posties" for years, though, and on farms I guess. Factory info is going to be a bit difficult to find, I imagine.
