Motorcycle Repair: Fuel controller needed?, fatbob, power commander

Hello , I have an 08 fatbob stock except for kromewerks slip-on mufflers (hp-3) just installed. Do I need a fuel controller(race tuner/power commander)if no other modifications will be made? Thanks

About he only way for you to tell, unless you run the bike on a dyno, is to pull the spark plugs and check them. If they are white, then you are running lean. Lean means hotter and runs with less horses. Also, if you run to lean, you can burn a valve. If they are black, then you are running rich. The plugs need to be a slightly tan color.
