Motorcycle Repair: Honda vf 700 wont idle, honda vf, speed jets

Just bought an 1987 magna, Is my first bike, I am a tech for chrysler with no motorcycle experience. This bike will not idle without choke at least partially on. I poured seafoam into tank and ran it for awhile but still wont idle. Please tell me where I can buy parts for this thing other than honda, and tell me what i should do to correct this issue.

Jessie, the low speed jets are plugged preventing fuel from getting into the engine at idle.  I've never found a cleaner that will clean those jets.  It require taking the carbs off and pulling the jets.  Run a small wire in the jets to clean it out.

As far as parts, it depends on what you need.  I do most of my shopping for parts on the internet. There are several discount part houses that can save you some money.
