i did a compression test and it was fine.................

Answer
If you have compression then its most likely the carb is not delivering fuel to that cylinder. First crack the drain plug and see if there's any fuel dripping from the bowl. If you have fuel then you probably need to just clean the idle jet and the idle mixture valve as these affect fuel delivery during idle. You will need to remove the carbs so while they are off you probably just want to go ahead and clean all the jets. How's you tank? If its rusty you may keep seeing clogged carbs until that is taken care of.
