Motorcycle Repair: Harley unused three years, polished aluminum, superglide

Question
I've got 98 SuperGlide, haven't used for three years has about 20K miles. Got sick had no garage so I had to store outdoors in a shelter.Sucks but that's life.
Now fortunately I hope to be able to get her back on the road. Cosmeticaly the polished aluminum is bad but I'm more worried about the engine. I don't have the means to take it to a dealer .What should I do to get it running, the engine that is without damage?
Much appreciated.

Answer
Sitting that long, the battery is probably no good, so start there. Drain all the fluids and replace. Drain the fuel and replace it and then see if the bike starts. Your probably going to have to rebuild the carb. Once its running, I would let it warm up and drain the oil again to get all the junk out of the motor
Good luck and happy riding
