Motorcycle Repair: solid oil line tube job, stainless steel lines, stainless tubing

Question
hi ive been thinking about cleaning up the appearance of my bike and thought that i would remove the ugly rubber oil line hoses and replace them w/ solid chrome or stainless tubing.  could you please give me some pointers on how to this.  for example do i have to solder or are there fittings to do the job     thanks charlie

Answer
What you need to do it check some catalogs online for fittings that your going to need to change to solid lines. You would have to go with stainless steel, since chrome lines dont bend well without cracking the chrome. You would have to have a different fitting on the oil tank to make the change.
You can buy braided stainless steel lines that are not solid that are premade to fit your bike, which will dress it up alot
Good luck and happy riding
