Motorcycle Repair: Installing Drive Chain, fit link, press fit

I bought a drive chain to replace on my cycle and am wondering how to install the master link.  The last time I installed a chain 20 years ago it had a clip for the master that you could install w/ pliers.  This new chain is a 525 o ring type chain with a type of a press fit link.  Can I install it with a c clamp or do I absolutely need to by a chain press tool?  Do you have any pictures on how to press it so it does not fall apart?

You can probably install it with a c-clamp if you are careful, but I do recomment a chain press. I dont have any pics to send to you on chains. Make sure the opening of the clip is facing away from the direction the wheel travels.
