QUESTION: We used my husbands air compressor to put the air back in, what should we have used? Did we mess up the air shocks that way?

Answer
You probably blew the seals out of the shocks. There is a special pump that you have to use to put the air in the shocks. You also, cant check them with a air pressure gage. the special pump has a gage on it for checking them
Good luck and happy riding
