Motorcycle Repair: kawasaki 1996 zx6e, semi conductors, resistance values

i smoked the resistor in the ignition switch,nothing else was affected..1 used a dvm before the smoke escaped and measured 180 ohms..i would like to know the composition of the resistor,the tolerance and if the 180 ohms is correct,
and any other information.  thank you

I'm a forensics engineer! lol...

Manufacturers do not provide intel on semi-conductors. Their proms are blank-printless. You'd be having a good day to successfully cross-reference OEM components in electronics catalogs.

Resistors are commonly marked with color bands to indicate resistance values.

I recommend that you have a local electronics tech (Radio Shack) inspect the part for you. He or she should be able to provide you with intel or even parts.
