Motorcycle Repair: clutch & brake lever, cable sheath, pivot bolt

Question
how do i remove clutch and brake levers and install new ones

Answer
PLEASE BE MORE SPECIFIC! Make, Model, Year, etc...
There are clutch and brake levers attached to hydraulic master cylinders and some just attached to cables. Different applications and procedures...

The levers pivot on a bolt, which may have a locknut on the bottom. Remove lock nut, unscrew the bolt and the lever will come out. If you are doing cables, then the spring loaded levers on the other ends will try to suck the inner cables inside the outer sheaths. Turn cable adjusters in ALL the way, so you can have maximum inner cable access.
Lube up the pivot bolt, then put the cable on the end of the lever. Position the outer cable sheath inwards towards the cable adjuster (align the adjuster slots so the cable can be inserted), and pivot the lever into the lever bracket. Install the pivot bolt and locknut. Adjust the cables so you have slight free play at the lever and you are done.
