Motorcycle Repair: scooter vibration loss of power, oil mixture, water in the fuel

i have a honda 101cc scooter. recently the scooter has started to vibrate alot on take off. take off has become very slow but picks up to normal speed. if i stop on a hill the bike does not have enough power to continue. on cold starts the bike is sluggish. the lights flicker at standing but brighten at speed. thanks a millon in advance.

 It sounds to me as if you have more than one issue going on, here.

1)  Possible problem with the charging system.  It could be in the beginning stages of failure.

2)  The ignition system could have problems.  As with the charging system, it could be on the way out, have a bad component or a wiring fault.

3)  The carb might need a proper cleaning.  It could be slightly clogged.

4)  Possible timing problem.  It may need the valve gap and/or ignition timing redone.

5)  If this scooter is a 2-stroke, then it could also be an issue with the fuel/oil mixture being off or even water in the fuel.

You need to get your repair manual for the bike and go through the analysis steps for each of the suspect problems.

Start with those and see what you find.
