Motorcycle Repair: oil+filter, oil filter, sanjay

hey mitch,
just bought a brand new CBR600F (non-US version). what's the best brand of oil and oil filter i should use? can i change the oil and the filter myself? are there any special skills or tools required? i'm no mechanic, but i ain't no girl either; getting down and dirty is cool. thanx for your help.

i always use castorl 20/50 i dont care what the manufacts say. i have always had success with this oil. it good for high reving engine .if you need more info im here ok.
