Motorcycle Repair: harley sportster carburator, harley sportster, dyna jet

Question
I want to rejet my 05 sportster after new pipes is the jet at the top of the carburator or the bottom.  I don't want to take it all apart just to look.  can you get me started.  i've worked on lots of motors and have the knowledge but not on this one.

Your best bet is to get a Dyna-jet kit for  your bike. It will rejett the carb and give you more throttle responce and better starts.
You have to remove the carb fromt he bike to get to the jets. they are on the under side inside the bowl.
