Hello. I have problem with my Suziki Tempter 650 1984. It has no spark how is that possible to check it and what could it be. The pearson who sold me the bike sad that the ignition system been done so it's new. Thank you. George

Hi George,

Get a copy of the service manual. Follow the troubleshooting procedures and test ignition components.

The manual is easy to follow and the tests are easy to perform. The CDI is checked by installing a known good CDI and checking for an arc at the plugs.

Otherwise, have a local shop perform the work for you.
