need to replace the battery, how do you open the seat?

also, do you know of any "newsgroups" that provide interesting information?  I know little about this bike but now own one of these models.

Hi Steve,

It's been several years since I've worked on a CB900.

The seat has two bolts underneath towards the rear to keep it mounted "or" the helmet lock may double as a seat release. I cannot remember which.
