Motorcycle Repair: Pilot Screw, carburetor body, suitable object

Mark Help! How do I Take out the tip of the pilot screw that has broken off and got stuck in the carburetor body(where it sits)? My carb is a Keihin PD for a XLR 250 Baja. Can I do away without it? Thanks a lot!

Hi Alvin,

Try and pick tool or suitable object and try pressing the tip out through the Venturi (other end).

Try blowing the tip free with compressed air. Do this with carbs disassembled.

Hire a tech or machinist to remove the tip for you.
