Motorcycle Repair: seat & saddle bag removal, yamaha venture royal, bikebandit com

I have a 1983 Yamaha Venture Royal. I do not have a repair manual. I am having trouble getting the side saddle bags and seat off. Can you tell me how to do this?

Hi Tom,

Remove the seat retaining bolts from each side. TTYo see microfiche parts views, visit Yamaha's website: "www.yamaha-motor.com" and select your Venture Royale from the menus.

You'll be able to see the assemblies of both and should be able to figure removal.
