HEY FALCON THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR TAKING THE TIME.I'M THINKING OF BUYING THIS BIKE.{1978 HONDA SUPERSPORT 750}IT STARTS RIGHT UP BUT IDLES BAD WITH THE CHOKE RAISED.CHOKE DOWN IT STOPS RUNNING.THIS WILL BE MY FIRST BIKE BUT I'VE ALWAYS WANTED A SUPER SPORT.THE PERSON WHO OWNS IT SAS REBUILD THE CARBS AND IT WILL BE FINE.TRUE OR FALSE

Hi Damon.
 I don't see anything really awful wrong with this bike, based on what you've told me.

 It probably just needs the carbs synchronized, timing and valves checked/adjusted, possible idlespeed adjustment and MAYBE the manifolds replaced.

 It could also need the carbs reseated in the manifolds and/or the header pipes retightened on the head.  If you see exhaust smoke from the head at the header pipes, then this will be the case.

Any work that needs doing, you should figure into the price of the bike, so keep that in mind.
