Motorcycle Repair: Fuel or Spark ? Problem, air fuel mixture, desirable colors

Question
Mr Shively, I sent you a note to the address below but have not recieved a reply as of this mailing. As I said in my note. 3 of the plugs are a light tan and one of them was a little lighter in color.

Question -
I have a 1984 Honda VT700c apporox. 21,000 miles
I've had it for 2000 miles. It has aftermarket exhaust (I think Jardine)slip on's  the previous owner wasn't sure.  (I like the pipes)
After riding the bike for about 50 miles on a hot day it will want to stall when taking off from stop. I have to feather it to keep it from stalling even on a rolling stop such as exiting a parking lot.
While standing still if I open the throttle to fast from a idle the engine will stall.
This does not happen until the engine gets thorughly warmed up. such as riding in town.
The warmer the engine gets the worse it gets.
Once moving it will run down the road without any problem and seems to run strong.
I was wondering if it could  be a fuel problem created by a fuel mixture from the aftermarket pipes or a spark problem, The fact that it runs fine until it gets warm enough for the cooling fan to kick on while riding slow has me stumped.
Thanks  TZ in Michigan

Hi Ted,

Describe the appearance of the spark plugs. We'll go from there.

Answer
Hi Ted,

Sorry to keep you waiting. I replied to your questions, though the last reply did not reach you. I accept full responsibility.

The plugs are desirable colors. The air/fuel mixture is ok. I have a troubleshooting file that I cannot copy and paste here. Send me an email if you want to review this file. My email is: mshively1@woh.rr.com

It's difficult to say if the problem is fuel, electrical, or both without performing a few tests.
