Motorcycle Repair: oil change, check oil level, ninja zx

i have a kawasaki zx6rf3 (1997) my bike was running ok but the oil + filter needed changing so i have done this. i started it up waiting for the oil light to go out, but now the oil does'nt seem to be going into the engine. what have i done wrong?

Visit this website and tell me if you poured oil into part number 16115.

With the engine off for five minutes and the bike held level on level ground, look into the oil level peep site (part number 52005) and check oil level.

Describe what was done during oil/filter change. Describe what you see when viewing oil site.
