Motorcycle Repair: H-D Screaming Eagle Clamp-On Mufflers, air fuel ratio, southside johnny

Question
Johnny - I'm thinking about taking my 04 H-D FXDI (F/I) bike and changing the (stock mufflers) and (stock air cleaner) to the (Screaming Eagle Stage 1) slip-on mufflers and air cleaner.  Due to fuel injection, I'll have to have the system re-mapped.  Retail Harley prices, together with labor gets spendy.  THREE QUESTIONS for you:  (#1)  Do you think the outcome will be worth the expense?  (#2) Are those good mufflers - less restrictive? (#3) IF I took the bike home and installed the mufflers and air-cleaner myself and then rode the bike back to the Harler shop - less than 10 miles - for the F/I recalibration, would it do any harm to the bike - as it will be running much leaner?  I've really appreciated your input on previous questions.  Can you advise me on these?  Thanks...Lee Anders

Answer
1ST QUESTION IS    THE OUTCOME WILL NOT NOT BE WORTH THE EXPENSE, #2  THE MUFFLERS ARE TOTAL JUNK, #3 YOU WOULD NOT HARM THE BIKE, BUT THE F/I RECALIBRATION WILL NOT HELP YOU A BIT. YOU NEED A POWER COMMANDER 3 R INSTALLED AND TUNED ON A DYNOJET 250 LOAD CONTROLLER WITH AIR/FUEL RATIO MONTOR,
