Nissan Repair: Nissan Pulsar 2005 console light problem, nissan pulsar hatch, nissan pulsar

Console lights   Hello,
On the air flow console in my 2005 Nissan Pulsar hatch (Australian), the lights behind the volume of airflow and temperature knobs don't work (however the light behind the location of airflow knob and aircon etc buttons work).
What might be the problem and how would I go about fixing this?

Hi Claire -

You will have to remove the surrounding dash board trim to access the lights that illuminate the panel.

Carefully unsnap the trim around the controls for the A/C. The panel for the A/C is screwed on with 4 screws (phillips I think). Remove that and you should see the bulbs behind there attached with wire. Turn the socket 1/4 turn to the left and the assembly should come out revealing the bulb. I would just go ahead and replace both bulbs, as they are the same age, and it is very inexpensive.
