Nissan Repair: A/C, 2006 nissan altima, nissan altima

I have an 2006 Nissan Altima. The A/C worked fine all summer it is a manual one. A couple of weeks ago no longer needed, but needed defrosters. Turned A/C on but I turned A/C off. Now A/C no longer works. Lights do come on when you depress the buttons.

I would think the system pressures have leaked down so the compressor will not come on.  I would add a can of R-134 and see how it does.  Since it just happened a can should do the trick.  About $10 bucks at Wal Mart for one with the low side tap already on the can.  Follow the directions and you should be fine.  If not, email me back.
