Nissan Repair: 1986 d21 will not start, fuse box, dash lights

Question
I get power to the ignition switch but no dash lights nothing.
I have checked the fuse box I am getting power there.  what would cause the and how to fix it?

Check the positive battery cable and see if the fuses or fuse links are blown.  Otherwise, it would be my thought to check the ignition switch for power coming to the instrument cluster.  You get power to the ignition and there are separate feeds for the cluster.
