Nissan Repair: 96 Nissan maxima power steering fluid leak., power steering fluid leak, power steering fluid

Question
My 96 Nissan Maxima has a bad power steering fluid leak. I can see it leak out, from the lines in front of the radiator and were the lines come out of the bottom of the fluid reservoir. I have to keep replacing the power steering fluid every three days. How do I fix the leaks?

Answer
Jeremy,

Purchase replacement lines and replace them.  Also, look at the cooler in front of the radiator and make sure you have not got a puncture from a stone or such flying up into the opening.  Fill the fluid and run the car and observe the leak.  But, for the most part it should be the hoses.  Check at your local parts store and the dealer.  If you are into ordering on-line checkout rockauto.com or courtesyparts.com since they can next day air for probably less money than a local store.
