Nissan Repair: bcm 95 maxima, wrecking yard, individual systems

i have a dead short that ruins my battery in about a week and i took it to a shop and he traced it into the bcm...  how can i tell what is controlled by the bcm and how do i check the individual systems to know where my short is and then fix it

If the body control module actually failed it would drain the battery.  The BCM is known to fail, under the dash, driver's side.  I would get one from a wrecking yard and replace yours.  A brown plastic box up against the firewall, under the dash.
