Car Stereos: alpine cda-9883 am/fm, alpine cda 9883, antenna boosters

i recently installed the alpine cda-9883 head unit in my car and fm is working, but i only get one am station, would you know why?

Hi Joe.

It might be due to a loose or defective antenna wire, they sell some antenna boosters for this kind of situation since its a hassle on some vehicles to track the wire down looking for some kind of damage on the wire. go to a car audio store and ask for one they are really easy to connect
