What is the cost on labor to replace clutch.I get one price for total job including part in stock(149.00)for &69.00.I was told by someone else should be around 400

Hi Peggy -

You can get the parts only for about the cost of your first price. If you can get the clutch replaced for $400, that would be a pretty good price. Is that including the parts? Because replacement of the clutch requires removal of the transmission, it gets pricey. I have seen some go to about $1500.

Just make sure whoever is replacing it gives you a written estimate.
