Nissan Repair: 2001 Maxima - SLIP ABS TCS lights, wheel sensors, performance friction

Question
Hi,
My 2001 Maxima GLE had 3 lights come on (SLIP, ABS, TCS).  No SES light though.  Anyway, I ran a code check with Equus 3030 and no engine codes found.  I found a schematic that shows all 3 signals go to a common module, suspect maybe that could be the problem, but really not sure.  Wish I could find the circuit to check but have no idea where it is.  Any thoughts you might have would be appreciated as I don't really know if this is a board problem or a brake system problem.
Thanks,
Dan
FYI: Go Raptor!

Answer
Dan,

It sucks but ABS codes and airbag codes are not for the general public dut to liability concerns.  So, your scanner will not read them.  You have to get a special one or a Consult II scantool to read the works.  For your issue you should first check to make sure that all the wheel sensors are in good order.  Nothing has torn one of the wires out of the pickup at each wheel.  If that is good then replace pads all the way around using Nissan or Performance Friction Carbon Metallic and if the rotors are toast turn or replace them.  Then, flush the brake fluid with Ford High Performance Brake Fluid.  It has twice the boiling point of regular DOT3.  Brake fluid should be flushed every two years since it absorbs water from the atmosphere.  The ABS and relates systems sense a loss of control when the fluid gets spongy.  Also, thin pads allow more fluid in the caliper and that makes the fluid even more soft.  Once you do the work disconnect the battery for five minutes to reset the codes and hopefully you should be done.
