Nissan Repair: Transmission Slipping, transmission filter, rpm

I have an issue when driving for 30 minutes or more: while driving the rpm will increase as I press on the gas but the car will not continue. I will pull over to the side and shut the car off for 5 minutes and start driving again and all is okay.

First, I would change the transmission filter and fluid.  If that does not work then you are going to have to take it in and get the transmission checked.  Sounds like you might have dirty fluid or the pump is failing.  But, do change the fluid and filter first.
