Nissan Repair: 97 altima P0325 code, resistance value, knock sensor

Question
My Altima has 190 K miles on it and it has a knock sensor code that says excessive high or low out of limits voltage reading. It could be wiring or a bad knock sensor. How do I know if the sensor is really bad or could it be something in my engine. I haven't read the resistance value of the sensor yet. I don't know where the sensor is located yet. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Barry,

I know it is a pain but the knock sensor is the probable cause for the code since I have replaced so many of them.  Nissan had a bad run on knock sensors and so many from your year model go bad.  I would replace the knock sensor and reset the code and you should be good for another ten years.
