Nissan Repair: UK - Year 2000 Primeria 1.8 16V 5 door manual, nissan primera, switch connections

Question
11-8-2007.Have owned Nissan Primera 1.8  5 door 16v  reg Y for 5 years. AC has never been serviced. As of this week no cooling, observed oil patch to front of condenser. To nearside of condenser is what looks like a drier, it has 3 electrical wires coming out os a sensor( they appear not to be switch connections nor is there any electriacl resistance. What are these for? ).
I assume I should replace the condenser and perhaps replace drier.

Answer
David,

I do not know what else to tell you but that the system probably has a leak and you will need to have that corrected prior to the system working.  The switch is for the compressor to cycle to keep it from running while it is low on refrigerant or to cycle the compressor so the system pressure does not get too high.  Over 320 PSI on the high side and your evaporator will ice over.  Let me know if you need more...
