What would cause a '92 Stanza to not go in Reverse?  I have a chance to buy one at a really good price and that's why owner is selling.  What's involved in repair and "ballpark  price" for a mechanic to fix?  Thanks.

If it is an automatic you are looking at a band replacement and if it is a manual you are looking at a new gear or the shift fork is broken.  Email me back if you need more.  Check the local wrecking yards for a replacement or both are going to be in the range of $1000 bucks with labor to remove and install.  If you can do the work yourself then it is just a matter of parts.
