Nissan Repair: noises, nissan frontier, starter problem

some mornings when i go out to crank up my 2000 nissan frontier it makes a rough noise before it cranks up it doesn't do this all the time it only does it every no and then is this normal or problem?

any kind of noise related to starting would indicate a starter problem.  it sounds to me like your starter is telling you its in the beginning stages of failure.  due to your question, this is the best answer i can come up with.  if this is what you are looking then im glad to have helped.  if you think the "noises" is something else, e-mail me a more descriptive question.  thanks!  xxp_sebby@yahoo.com.

PS.  when starters begin to fail it IS normal for these symptoms of working sometimes and not working at other times.  remember the days of tapping the starter with a hammer?...those days are still around.  good luck!
